Works in Progress: Mastering high resolution image to print.

The process to get an image suitable for printing takes many steps.  Color correction is crucial because the various mediums used to capture the original image each come with their unique set of factors.  For example, using a high-end scanner to capture an image has different challenges than does image capture using a digital still camera.    Add to that, the image that appears on your monitor during the editing stage often does not translate to what ends up on the print.   Even when the monitor is calibrated using pro level equipment and software, it doesn't mean the image will print as it looks on the screen.    Getting the icon to glow on the canvas isn't easy, but for us, it's a labor of love!
